Summer Lunches for North Somerset Play Forum

This Summer, we have been working alongside the brilliant North Somerset Play Forum. They kindly contacted us following our plee for local groups who are providing full free meals to people who need support.

North Somerset Play Forum run a playgroup aimed at children in the local area who usually receive free school meals during term-time. This gives the families who need a little bit more support during the holidays, the support they deserve by feeding their little ones healthy school standard packed lunches, taking them on lovely day trips and entertaining with lots of activities during all the summer holidays.

We are proud to say that we have helped provide every single lunch that has been given to the children over the past few weeks and ongoing for the rest of the Summer holidays. This has been a great help to the group and the parents of the children who attend, and we are so please that we have been able to help!

During this time, we will have provided a total of 400 lunches for the children who attended the North Somerset Play Forum. Having us provide the meals, meaning that the group could then use their other funds to provide the children with fun activities and day trips during the holidays!
