The Ultimate Hot Chocolate
Serves 8 15 minutes
Pimp up your hot chocolate with this grown up version. Enjoy the smoothness of the chocolate together with the indulgent whipped cream and Baileys Irish Cream liqueur.
Ingredients
- 1.5L x Semi-skimmed milk
- 5 tbsp x Hot chocolate powder
- 1 tbsp x Cocoa powder
- 250ml x Baileys Irish Cream
- 150g x Dark chocolate (broken into pieces)
- 2 tbsp x Cornflour
- 2 tbsp x Water
- Squirty cream (to decorate)
- Milk chocolate shavings (to decorate)
- Small marshmallows (to decorate)

Place the milk in a non-stick saucepan and gently bring to a simmer
Whisk in the hot chocolate powder and cocoa powder
In a small separate bowl mix the cornflower and water together until it forms a paste and then add it to the hot chocolate
Add the Baileys together with the 150g of the dark chocolate and gently stir until melted
Pour into a glass and top with squirty cream, a little grated chocolate and a sprinkling of marshmallows for good measure
