This stunning recipe is similar to a classic peppercorn sauce but with mushrooms and a few other tasty ingredients,

Ingredients

  • 100ml x Atkins & Pots Classic Beef Gravy (or any beef stock or homemade if you have time)
  • 1/2 x Small Onion (any is fine)
  • 5g x Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
  • 25ml x Double Cream
  • Large pin of Salt
  • 60g x Mushrooms (I used button)
  • 1 x dash of Tabasco or Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp x Dijon Mustard
  • 5 x dashes (5ml) of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 10g x Butter
  • 1 x Garlic Clove (Crushed)

Receipe - Sauce Diane - TOUTS

Ingredients

  • 100ml x Atkins & Pots Classic Beef Gravy (or any beef stock or homemade if you have time)
  • 1/2 x Small Onion (any is fine)
  • 5g x Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
  • 25ml x Double Cream
  • Large pin of Salt
  • 60g x Mushrooms (I used button)
  • 1 x dash of Tabasco or Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp x Dijon Mustard
  • 5 x dashes (5ml) of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 10g x Butter
  • 1 x Garlic Clove (Crushed)

Method

  1. Finely chop the onion and crush the garlic then fry off in the butter until soft.

  2. Add the mushrooms and cook for 2-3 mins.

  3. Add the stock and reduce for 2 mins.

  4. Add the cream.

  5. Then add all the other ingredients, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and Tabasco or hot sauce and again reduce for 2 mins.

Tips
  • Serve with steak and enjoy.
