Lost and Grounded
Lost and Grounded Brewers is a brewery in Bristol, UK, established in July 2016 by Co-Founders Alex Troncoso and Annie Clements. We are particularly fascinated by the precision of German brewing and the idiosyncratic nature of Belgian beers.
We have a state-of-the-art 25HL brewhouse from Krones (located in Freising, Germany) which includes a lactic acid propagation tank. Rarely seen outside of Germany, the tank allows us to use a traditional German method of adjusting the acidity of our beer, producing a smoother and more balanced finish.
Since we started in 2016 we established clear standards of who we wanted to be and how we wanted to work which we have summed up in our four main core values: Humble, Inclusive, Clever and Raw. We are proud to be Living Wage Foundation Employer and we also support the Everyone Welcome Initiative. It is important to us to promote a safe and discrimination free space for people to enjoy our beers together as well as encourage these values within the beer industry. We also like to give back to the community where we can by supporting charities through various events and special beer releases.
We love lagers – and it is no secret! Keller Pils is our flagship lager and is where it all began. This has lead onto us having a core range of 8 beers from German and Belgian influence:
- Keller Pils (Unfiltered Lager, 4.8%)
- Helles (Unfiltered Lager, 4.4%)
- Hop-Hand Fallacy (Witbier, 4.4%)
- Saison D’Avon (Belgian-Style Ale, 6.5%)
- Apophenia (Tripel, 8.8%)
- Wanna Go To The Sun (Pale Ale, 4.6%)
- Running With Sceptres (India Pale Lager, 5.2%)
- No Rest For Dancers (Red Ale, 5.6%)
We also launch limited edition beers and collaboration brews periodically to run alongside our core range as well as the seasonal release of our Running With Spectres (Baltic Porter, 6.8%).
All of our beers are unfiltered, unpasteurised and vegan-friendly.
